Installation instructions for Mac OS Catalina or newer
Some users have reported problems installing the Harpex plugin on recent versions of Mac OS. This is due to increased security measures on this version of the operating system, which is not backwards compatible with software designed for earlier versions of the operating system. Until we have made the necessary upgrades to our software, these instructions will work as a work-around.
Instead of dragging the plugin directly into the folder shortcuts in the disk image, you may have to double-click on the destination folders and drag the plugin into the finder windows
that open.
Open a terminal window. (press Command + space bar, type "Terminal", press Enter)
Type in or copy-paste the following command(s), depending on which flavor(s) of the plugin you are using (press Enter after typing or pasting in the command):
